Parish Administrator

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Downer’s Grove seeks a Parish Administrator to support all day-to-day activities of the congregation, including managing church information and communications (church calendar, publications and online presence); maintaining non-financial church records; providing administrative support to the rector, committees and volunteers; assisting with the preparation of worship materials; and creating a welcoming and helpful environment for all callers, visitors, members and correspondents.

The Parish Administrator will serve 30 hours each week (currently Monday-Friday, 9 am – 3 pm; the schedule to be determined in collaboration with the Rector). The compensation for the Parish Administrator is $18-22/hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus health insurance (for employee only), paid time off, and 403(b) contributions. Digital Engagement Coordinator (Part-time)

Episcopal Charities (EC) seeks a part-time Digital Engagement Coordinator (DEC) to build a large social media following among Episcopalians in the Diocese of Chicago. Simultaneously, the DEC will collaborate with staff to post content, using a variety of media (meme, article, video, etc.) on a regular daily schedule that is aligned with the aesthetics and values of EC. The performance of the DEC will be tied to the achievement of clear objectives related to significant increases in friends and followers, views, engagement, shares, consistency and quality of posts, tagging, and other relevant metrics.
