Parish Administrator (Part Time)
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is a vibrant, welcoming neighborhood parish in Evanston, IL, with just over 200 members. St. Mark’s seeks a Parish Administrator to serve as the operational backbone of our parish. This role supports the Rector and staff across four areas: day-to-day office management, executive support to the Rector, parish communications, and coordination of the building’s use, which has been a longstanding and active part of how St. Mark’s serves the broader Evanston community. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative experience, a calm and professional presence, and a genuine interest in the mission of an Episcopal church.
This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week, in-person. Parish and Communications Administrator
St. Michael’s Church in Barrington, IL is seeking a skilled muti-tasker to fill a new full-time, salaried position as the Parish & Communications Administrator. In this role the candidate will be responsible for managing the daily administration of non-financial parish matters and work with Rector, Vestry and volunteers to enhance and increase the communications efforts of the parish both internally to its members and externally to the community.
This role will require a candidate who flourishes when working collaboratively and creatively to enhance the mission driven purpose of St. Michael’s. The candidate will consider themselves skilled in current communications and Microsoft technologies and confident in suggesting potential improvements while being able to work independently to complete routine administrative tasks.
The candidate will join a team that includes a full-time accountant and a full-time facilities manager collectively meeting the needs of an energized and faithful parish membership.
The candidate should be willing to work a 9-5 daily in office schedule with some weekend work as mutually agreed. The church offers a competitive compensation package, based on experience and technical skills as well as a very strong benefits package including 10 days vacation in year one, moving to 15 days in year two, plus 12 holidays, accrued PTO and a very strong retirement matching program.

Director of Youth and Children's Ministry (Part Time)
St. Mary’s, Park Ridge is seeking a part time Director of Youth and Children’s Ministry. The position is 10 hours per week and is ideal for those seeking flexibility. Sunday presence is a requirement for the position. St. Mary’s seeks candidates who enjoy working with young people and their families and who care about the spiritual development of children and youth.
The Director’s role is both relational and organizational. The Director will build relationships with families, children, and youth and will help teach, guide, and lead them in their spiritual development alongside dedicated lay leaders. The Director will also be responsible for volunteer scheduling, curriculum and calendar oversight, primary communication with families and lay leaders, and for the recruitment and supervision of lay leaders and nursery staff. Associate for Family Ministry (Lay or Ordained)

Communications Manager
Episcopal Charities (“EC”), the social outreach arm of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, seeks a full time Communications Manager. The Communications Manager is responsible for setting communications strategy and priorities; determining appropriate platforms and approaches; and exercising independent judgment regarding messaging, storytelling methods, and audience engagement. The role requires developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that amplifies the mission and impact of EC through clear, compelling, and faithful storytelling.
With a strong emphasis on strategic oversight and development of video, multimedia content, and the thoughtful use of emerging technologies—including AI—this role translates the work of grantee partners and programs into stories that inspire donors, engage stakeholders, and invite broader participation in the mission of EC.
