The Parish Administrator is expected to provide office resources for a cordial and efficient parish. At Church of the Holy Spirit, the PA interfaces with the public, including neighbors seeking financial assistance and food. Tech Producer (Part Time)

Technology Associate (Part Time)

Director of Youth Ministries

Christ Church desires a DYM with a deep, sustaining personal faith who connects authentically with young people and endeavors to walk alongside them in spiritual growth. Experience in teaching or ministry is desired but not required; relational abilities and transferable skills are more important than previous job titles. Assistant Organist (Part Time)

The Church of the Holy Spirit (CHS) in Lake Forest seeks a part time Assistant Organist to the Organist/Choirmaster. The Assistant Organist’s primary role is to accompany the church’s music program and the musical expression of the worshipping congregation. CHS boasts two organs, both by Harrison & Harrison of Durham, England. The main organ has 51 ranks over three manuals. The second organ is a 3-stop continuo instrument.

Preferred qualifications include formal training in and understanding of the organ, organ repertoire and sacred music (excellence in technical and musical expression is a must, including the accompaniment of choirs in anthems, Anglican Chant, and hymns); singing with straight tone, on pitch, in time, and in tune, to provide an example for singers; play and conduct handbells; experience with the Church calendar and its distinctive liturgical needs. Director of Music (Part Time)

Responsibilities include consulting with the Vicar/Priest/Pastor to plan music for the congregation (this can be by phone, email, Skype, Zoom, and the Vicar is willing to plan all hymns to allow the person to become familiar with the liturgy of the Episcopal Church); rehearsing and directing the adult choir for Sundays and special services; recruiting additional choir members; purchasing and managing all materials and providing recommendations on the upkeep and maintenance of organ and piano.
