2024 Vitality Grants Awarded

In October of 2023, the Vitality Grants Committee of the Congregations Commission awarded $275,000 to 18 congregations across the diocese. The grants, which are made annually, support congregational health and vitality. The grant funds are provided by the diocesan Bishop and Trustees, which holds title to and oversees the real property used by the missions of the diocese.

The 2024 grant cycle was conducted under the guidance of the Vitality Grants Committee, which was appointed with the goal of broadening the perspectives and criteria by which grant applications are evaluated. This year, the committee included representatives from the Hispanic Affairs Committee, the Antiracism Commission, Bishop and Trustees, Diocesan Council, and the Congregations Commission Oversight Team.
